My rebel irises (the ones on the other side of the porch) have started opening! Like I told Mom on the phone a few days ago, I think I counted about 37 buds on this patch.

Last year's Ginger Ale coralbell is coming up with flowers!

Trop Jaloux! (Pronounced Troe Jah-LOO, with the "j" sounding like Zsa Zsa Gabor.) Look at those five purty blooms!

They look like little dollops of vanilla icing or something.

I just think it's so cute when they haven't uncurled yet.

And Seaside Daisies. Considering that when I bought both of the previous two plants they were completely without blooms, they're looking spectacular.

MY NEW HOSE CADDY!! Isn't Dan wonderful? I worked a double yesterday and he sent me a picture message on my phone of this, saying he was late to see me because "of your new present." So cute!

Anyone know what would cause our little peach tree's leaves to look like this? I told Dan he needs to pinch off a leaf and take it to a nursery and ask. I don't have any idea. :(

The Return of the Indestructible Wisteria!

And this is a little Portland Rose named Comte de Chambord. It's not really much to look at right now, but hopefully I'll have some pretty roses someday. :)

Dan made this woodshed-type thing in the corner of the yard for our firepit.

Princesse Caroline de Monaco is sooo close to opening! (Before the Storm doesn't even have any buds yet! Wah!)

I was so happy to see the Sarah Bernhardt peony coming back up this year!

My Wave Petunia isn't letting down the rest of them. They're all going crazy!

Say hello to Firebreather! Isn't he breathtaking? I was this close to renaming him Incorrigible Tease, and then yesterday morning when I left the house at six I saw he had opened. When I came home, there were two blooms!

And there are more buds! (He tried to lay down today, so I had to put a stick in the ground and use a hair clip to attach it, but he seems much better now.)

Look at all the buds on Trop Jaloux! And they're starting to look purple at the top, so it should be blooming in the next few days.

My first Las Vegas also opened today!

This picture is now the background on my computer. Isn't Bordeaux amazing? It was spilling over a few days ago, but it didn't have this many flowers.

My Ultra Rose petunias are adjusting happily to life in the porch box.

As are my Margarita Strawberry portulaca. I can't wait until they spread out and fill up the container!

The Wave Petunia is also flourishing.

Each of my Shasta Daisies has a flower now. :)

Yet more petunias... they made me so happy last year that I kind of went crazy this year. :)

Sarah is sending up another little shoot from the ground.

Everybody's blooming! There are even a few blossoms on the Seaside Daisy.

MY FIRST LILY OF THE SEASON!! Tiny Hope finally opened!

I really like the combination of the two nemesias.

The Raspberry Blast is also looking beautiful.

I guess it just tired Ginger out too much to watch me out there in the garden. Poor thing.
